MAHAHUAL, es un pequeño pueblo de pescadores situado a 280 km al sur de Playa del Carmen (México), muy cerca de la frontera con Belice, que forma parte de la Costa Maya y la Reserva de la Biosfera del Caribe Mexicano. Un paraíso natural, santuario para los amantes del buceo, por el que pasa la llamada Gran Barrera Maya, el segundo sistema arrecifal más extenso del mundo. Mahahual tiene más de 60 km de arrecifes vírgenes llenos de laberintos y recovecos donde se refugia la vida marina.
MAHAHUAL, is a small fishing town located 280 km south of Playa del Carmen (Mexico), very close to the border with Belize, which is part of the Costa Maya and the Mexican Caribbean Biosphere Reserve. A natural paradise, a sanctuary for diving lovers, through which the so-called Great Mayan Barrier passes, the second largest reef system in the world. Mahahual has more than 60 km of virgin reefs full of labyrinths and nooks where marine life takes refuge.

XCALAK
XCALAK, A menudo nos referimos a Xcalak como “el fin del mundo”. Si bien eso no es técnicamente correcto desde el punto de vista geográfico, no importa, porque ciertamente se siente así cuando pasas un poco de tiempo aquí. Como pueblo, es uno de los lugares más aislados y remotos de todo el litoral de Quintana Roo. El pueblo más cercano está a más de una hora en automóvil, y la ciudad más cercana está a casi tres horas. Lo remoto de este lugar se combina con el hecho de que tiene unos sitios de buceo únicos.
XCALAK, We often refer to Xcalak as “the end of the world.” While that's not technically geographically correct, it doesn't matter, because it certainly feels that way when you spend a little time here. As a town, it is one of the most isolated and remote places on the entire coast of Quintana Roo. The nearest town is more than an hour's drive away, and the nearest city is almost three hours away. The remoteness of this place is combined with the fact that it has some unique dive sites.
